Motherboard- is the main circuit board in general-
purpose computers and other expandable systems and is also known as the mainboard, system board, main circuit board, planar board, mono, or logic board.
CPU Fan- is any fan inside, or attached to, a computer
case used for active cooling. Fans are used to draw cooler air into the case from the outside, expel warm air from inside and move air across a heat sink to cool a particular component.
Hard Disk Drive- is the hardware component that
stores all of your digital content. Your documents, pictures, music, videos, programs, application preferences, and operating system represent digital content stored on a hard drive.
Power Supply- is a hardware component that
supplies power to an electrical device. It receives power from an electrical outlet and converts the current from AC (alternating current) to DC (direct current), which is what the computer requires.
Central Processing Unit (CPU)- is the electronic

5 External Parts of the Computer
Computer System- is the enclosure that contains most of
the components of a personal computer. Cases are usually constructed from steel, aluminum and plastics and it is also known as a computer chassis, tower, system unit, or cabinet.
Webcam- is a video camera that feeds or stream an image
or video in real time to or through a computer network, such as the Internet. Webcams are typically small cameras that sit on a desk, attach to a user’s monitor, or are built into the hardware.
Computer Monitor- is an output device that displays
information in pictorial form and displays the computer’s user interface and open programs. A monitor usually comprises the visual display, circuitry, casing, and power supply.
Computer Mouse- is a hand-held pointing device that
detects two-dimensional motion relative to a surface. This motion of a pointer on a display, which allows a smooth control of the graphical user interface of a computer.
Computer Keyboard- is a typewriter-style device which
uses arrangement of buttons or keys to act as mechanical levers or electronic switches and used to enter characters and functions into the computer system by pressing buttons, or keys.
