The maps below show changes that took place in Youngsville in NZ over 20 years from 1990 to

2010

The maps show the developments which took place in the coastal town of Youngsville between 1980
and 2005. Overall, a comparison of the two maps reveals a change from a largely rural to a mainly
urban landscape.

Looking first at the layout in 1990, there were a lot of trees in northern made clear atmosphere
coupled with some houses being constructed nearly the river and school. Some modern constructions
were school, airport and hospital which were built in this year.

As far as the difference is concerned, the school, airport and hospital remained in western while the
residential area in eastern was cleared space for the stadium, building and transports. In the northern
and southern of map, the majority of trees were cut down to be replaced by a park, warehouse and
industrial factories. Moreover, the lake in the north layout underwent significvant development with
many activities and sports.
