The diagram displays the process in which water is used to generate electricity for many purposes.
Overall, hydroelectric power is generated by using water from the sea through a relatively
sophisticated procedure which comprises over ten stages.

The rainwater that falls on the land after natural evaporation and condensation of sea water is first
collected and stored in the reservoir. The penstock pipe's valve is opened when the water level in the
dam reaches the right level. This allows extremely high-pressure water to reach the turbine, which is
located below.

The turbine turns quickly when the water falls on it. Mechanical energy is transferred to electrical
energy in this process. The electricity generated in this way is delivered to the transformer station via
high-voltage cables. The electricity is then delivered to individual homes, hospitals, schools, and
companies via underground wires.
