A Narrative Report on the 5-day School-Based In-Service Training for Teachers

of Sapang Elementary School

The Faculty of Sapang Elementary School headed by its Principal,(insert name of

principal) organized an In-Service Training for the teachers.

During the first day of the training,speakers presentend topics anchored on the
strategic plans in coping up with the challenges faced by teachers in this time of pamdemic.

The first speaker was Mrs.Erlinda D. Cortez,Master Teacher II.She spearheaded the
topic on The Use of Messenger Chat Room in Conducting Online Lesson or Video Conferencing.
This was followed by the discussion on Interim Guidelines in Assessment of Learning in the
New Normal by Maam Jasmin D. Daquiz,Teacher III. A demonstration teaching in AP 1 was
conducted by Maam Erlinda C. Cortez during the afternoon session of the first day.

To start the second day of the inset,a recap for the previous day was done by Maam
Juanita C. Diaz,Teacher III. For the rest of the morning session,two demonstration teachings
were held. Maam Gwendalyn T. Cruz,Teacher III,had her Demonstration Teaching in English
while Maam Rosario P. Cruz,Teacher III,had her Demonstration Teaching in Filipino.
Completing the second day was a discussion on the Intervention Used in Bridging the Learners
Gap by Maam Irish Gay M. Juan. She cited concrete examples on how to aid teachers in
coming up with specialized teaching strategies.

For the third day of the training,the morning session was opened up with a discussion
on How to Construct an Integrated Rubrics by Maam Arceli D. Franco. This was seconded by a
topic from Maam Jasmin D. Daquiz regarding How to Create folder and upload files in Google
Drive. Afternoon session was headed by Maam Juanita C. Diaz,Teacher III,on her topic about
the Forms of Assessment in the New Normal Education.

A discussion on How to Prepare the IPCRF Development Plan and MOVs was tackled by
Maam Erlinda D. Cortez during the fourth day of the seminar. This was followed by
demonstration teachings by Maam Irish Gay M. Juan and Maam Mylene C. De Guzman.

Summing up the 5-day inset were three demonstration teachings. Maam Yolanda D.
Cruz,Teacher III,had a demonstration teaching in EPP while Maam Arceli D. Franco had her
demonstration teaching in Mathematics. Maam Juanita C. Diaz,on the other had her
demonstration teaching in Mother Tongue.

In line with the In-service training,the whole faculty looks forward for a fruitful last two
semesters of this school year.
