EXERCISE FOR WRIST AND HAND

1 WRIST FLEXION WITH WEIGHT 20 REP/1
 Sit in a chair next to a table. Rest
your right forearm on the table. SET
 Hang your right wrist off the edge
of the table, palm up. Hold a hand
weight in your right hand.

2 WRIST EXTENSION WITH WEIGHT 20 REP/1


 Sit in a chair next to a table. Rest
your right forearm on the table. SET
 Hang your right wrist off the edge
of the table, palm down . Hold a
hand weight in your right hand.

Radial / Ulnar Deviation with Weights

 The forearm should be supported on a set
table with wrist in neutral position and
hand off of table.
 Using a weight bring hand into ulnar
deviation as far as possible
 Then take it toward thumb as much as
possible.

Make a Fist rep/set
 Make a gentle fist, wrapping
your thumb across your fingers.
 Hold for 30 to 60 seconds.
Release and spread your fingers
wide.

5 Finger Stretch 10
rep/set
 Place your hand palm-
down on a table or other
flat surface.
 Gently straighten your
fingers as flat as you can
against the surface
without forcing your
joints.

6 Claw stretch 10 rep

 Hold your hand out in
front of you, palm facing
you.
 Bend your fingertips down
to touch the base of each
finger joint. Your hand
should look a little like a
claw.
