It was a sultry Sunday afternoon, tired of writing assignments I decided to venture

into our small fruit garden. When I noticed something scurrying into the bushes, I was
curious to find out what it was when slowly stepped into the bushes. Suddenly the
sound had stopped. It was by seven year old cousin sister who was trying to hide in there
when we planned for a family picnic in our lush green backyard. We didn’t know that she
was hiding there. We didn’t know that she wasn’t there. We realized that she was missing
from the group only when the time to serve her favourite cake came. We went to search for
her in the neighbourhood thinking that she might have gone to play with her friends. We all
got worried thinking about my sister. After a while of futile searching, my mother asked to
search her in our fruit garden. I was doubtful to find her there but somehow my mother was
convinced to find her there. I heard my sister giggling and that’s how we found her. I pulled
her near to me, she thought I would scold her but I hugged her and asked her never to do that
again. Seeing this, my mother hugged both of us and then we all shared her favourite cake.
As usual she got a bigger piece but that day she shared with me for all the trouble she had put
me into.....
