Guide Questions:
1. Which body parts in the experiment is the most accurate to use in measurement?
Why?
The most accurate to use in measurements is the DIPA because as I compare
the result using the measurement tool with the result I got using my body parts they
are almost the same unlike the others.

2. Give one (1) advantage and disadvantage of using body parts as a measuring tool.

Advantage: You can easily measure a certain thing without bringing a measuring tool
with you because you can just use your body parts to identify its measure.

Disadvantage: It is time consuming especially if you’re going to measure a wide area

or a larger material.
3. Cite three (3) daily activities that use body parts as measuring tools.
-cooking rice

-planting corn
-wearing pants (using the neck as measurement)

4. What is the importance of scaling?

Scaling is important because it helps us in determining the dimensions and
area upon measuring.

5. Differentiate accuracy and efficiency.

Accuracy is the degree of closeness to the true value or we can say that it is the degree
of veracity, while efficiency is the degree to which a process will repeat the same value or
the degree of reproducibility.

Conclusion:
Upon doing this activity I was able to formulate scale using my body parts and with
that, it helped me and taught me how to calculate the areas that we are tasked to measure.
By using the metric and british conversion I
was able to use the scale by formulating a one
unit to another. As I compared the actual
measurements using a measuring tool and
body parts I realized that Dipa is the most
accurate to use base on my data sheet
because I almost got the exact the
measurement from it. Measuring using metric
and british system might be in different units
with the same system or units from different
systems but it can be used to describe the
same thing. Converting one unit to another is possible.
