“PANAGTIPON 2020”

In the second week of the

theater festival, the University of Cebu-SHS Department Main Campus plays four
theater. The first play shows how powerful love can do. The first play shows how
powerful love can do. The “Abtanan sa Naga” shows that even though the evil girl
poisons the men’s heart, the love always prevails. The second play, which is the
“Papeles” shows how the Filipinos are strong against all the colonizers. They are smart,
even if their loved one betrays; they always keep in faith defending their own country.
The third play shows how revenge affects you and how to achieve justice. The fourth
play showed how the system of the teacher affects the learning of the students and its
consequences.

I’d learned so much in the second week of the theater festival. The story reflects
in our daily life. In the first play, even though you are blinded and tempted, the love
always rises and will keep you in faith. The play entitled, “papeles” shows that you
cannot trust someone, and don’t be blinded by love. Because if they can’t be trustworthy
in small things, then how about the big things. And the last play, the teacher must be
open for advice, so that the teaching style will be affected. They must adapt to the new
learning styles and not just in the usual way. In conclusion, the plays showed us many
lessons to be used in our life.
