Interview Barack Obama
MONICA - Reporter I: Good morning Mr. Obama, nice to meet you, thanks for
coming.

CESAR - BO: The pleasure is all mine.

RODOLFO – Reporter II: It's a beautiful day today, it's very sunny and a little
windy, perfect for this interview. Let's start with your name, what is your full
name?

CESAR - BO: My full name is Barack Hussein Obama.

MONICA: Where are you from originally?

CESAR - BO: I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.

RODOLFO: Can you tell me about your childhood?

CESAR - BO: Well, when I was a baby, my father came back to his country in
Africa, so I didn't see him very often. I guess I was a good student, my mother
woke me up very early in the morning to practice reading and writing, it was
very difficult, but it helped me a lot, thanks to them I could be who I am.

MONICA: Did you have any Hobbies?

CESAR - BO: I loved playing basketball and tennis when I was in high school.

RODOLFO: What happened after high school?

CESAR - BO: Well, I went to university in California and New York, but then I
decided that I wanted to be a lawyer, so I went to Harvard Law School, I always
get caught by the law and can help others.

MONICA: Are you married?

Internal
CESAR - BO: Yes I am. I've been married for 29 years and Michelle and I have
two beautiful daughters.

RODOLFO: Many people describe you as a charismatic and kind man. Some

women even say that you are very handsome, what do you have to say about
that?

CESAR - BO: I don't know what I could say about that, I should probably say
thank you.

MONICA: In your opinion what was more difficult, to be a senator or to be a

president?

CESAR - BO: I think being a senator is probably more difficult than being a
president. I had a lot of trouble trying to get the government to help the state of
Illinois, but it was the most rewarding and challenging experience.

RODOLFO: What is your favorite kind of food?

CESAR - BO: The best food that I have ever tried has been Mexican food. I
remember when I traveled to Cancun with my family and we stayed at the most
beautiful hotel in the Island, it had big rooms and excellent restaurants so we
decided to go to a Mexican restaurant and the food was really delicious and
spicy but it also made me sick, my stomach was very upset and my entire body
hurt.

MONICA: What are you doing now that you are not president anymore?

Internal
CESAR - BO: This time I'm focusing on helping people through charities and
environmental projects. Michelle and I are sharing many good ideas with a lot of
powerful personalities.

RODOLFO: What are your plans for the future?

CESAR - BO: Next year my family and I are going to travel to Africa to help
doctors provide medicines and medical assistance to poor communities. It's
going to be a great experience especially for the girls.

MONICA: Thank you very much for the interview Mr. Obama.

CESAR – BO: Thanks to you for this pleasant interview.
