Laboratory Rules for Pupils

学生实验准则
You must behave sensibly during practical work to avoid hurting other people or yourself.
在实验室里，你们必须小心谨慎地遵守行为准则和化学实验准则，以免伤害到别人和你自己。
1. Walk. Do not run.
1、步行，请不要奔跑。
2. Do not throw anything.
2、不要乱丢东西。
3. Do not push people.
3、不要推攘别人。
4. Always wear safety glasses.
4、要一直穿戴安全护目镜。
5. Listen carefully to instructions and ask for help if you need to.
5、仔细听老师的步骤须知，当你不懂的时候，积极求教老师。
6. Never go into a lab without permission.
6、在没有得到允许的情况下，不要随意进入实验室。
7. Never take apparatus and chemicals from a lab.
7、不要拿走化学实验室的任何器皿和化学物品。
8. Do not touch apparatus, electrical equipment or chemicals (or the controls of the gas, water
and electricity supplies) unless you have been told to do so.

9. Tell your teacher about damaged or broken equipment.
9、告诉 你的老师任何已经损坏和破损的设备设施。
10. Never eat or drink in laboratories.
10、不要在实验室吃喝。
11. Tell your teacher about any accidents.
11、一旦有任何意外事故发生，请立即告诉老师。
12. Allow hot equipment or substances to cool before you touch them, store them or throw them
away.
12、任何发热发烫的装置和设施，请待放置一旁一段时间后降温再触碰。
13. Don't sit or lean on a lab bench. It may have harmful substances on it.
13、请不要坐或是倚靠在化学装置台上，可能会有危险物质在上面。
14. Don’t touch chemicals. Wash your hands when you finish lab work; this is especially
important before meals.
14、不要触碰化学物品。当你完成化学实验后，请务必洗手。尤其是在吃饭之前，请务必保持
双手清洁。
15. Keep your bag under your desk.
15、请把书包放置再桌子底下。
16. Tie back long hair during practical work.
16、在做任何化学实验前，请务必把长发系起来。
17. Clear up spilled chemicals straight away. Ask your teacher what to do if you are not sure.
17. 清理洒出来的化学品，假如你不知道怎么处理，请及时求教老师。
18. Be careful when carrying chemicals and glassware.
18.小心搬运化学品和玻璃器皿。
19. If your experiment produces fumes or gases, try to avoid breathing them in.
19. 假如你做能够产生烟雾和气体的实验，避免吸入他们。
