This pandemic has affected all of us in many different ways.

As a law student, it took away a lot

of the things I hold dear – the presence of my batchmates during classes, the dinner outs and
study outs, and the comforting idea that no matter how stressful it is, I can always just call my
friends to unwind and destress.

Add to that the constant anxiety of being afflicted with the virus.

Law school in itself was already difficult but the online classes added another layer of burden
while taking away most of the social aspects that make law school life memorable.

Law school during a pandemic is difficult but I cannot imagine how heavy it must be for those
who are preparing to take the bar examinations this November. Some of them have been
anxiously waiting for a year while some had to go through a year of online law school and only
months of review.

Studying through this difficult time is never an easy feat.

And the least we can do as law students who understand their collective struggle is to support
them through the bar operations.
