Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) for Caking issue of Cationic

We have done Visual Inspect on 15th&16th Sep (as below batch) of AQUAFLOC 10C of recently
manufactured by our Production Team due to Customer raised complaint regarding Caking
issue of supplied Cationic Flocculent by us(IVAX PAPER-5000KGS-D/230/07)

Above 5MTs batch are ready for replacement of AQUAFLOC 10C

During our Inspection, We found following issues for Rectification

1. Damage Due to fork lifts forks -

During Shifting or loading, We found following fork Imitated damage mark on bags

This causes gradual moisture intrusion into the bags & forming cake, lump

Preventive Action

Extreme care of Fork lift operation duringshifting /loading

2. Caking Issue:-

We found small to medium size cake as per below image .This Lump/Cake forming side wall of
powder blender

Preventive Action

Thoroughly Cleaning of blender & QC will Inspect before Batch

3.Wet Storage Area:-

We found pallets are store near wet area as below image
Preventive Action

Storage Area should be dry without any water leakage

4. Low Quality of Inner Liner Transparent Poly bag:-

We observe low quality of Inner Poly bag which prone to leakage during handling

Standard Inner Poly Bag of SNF Inner Poly Bag of IEI

Preventive Action

QC will develop new inner liner poly bag in co-ordition with Purchase
