Activity 1 – Knowing each other

Do I know me? I should ask this question myself every day. A question helps me to evaluate
my life and its meaning to me. In order to complete this personal me, I will help you know about
it.

I am loving, kind-hearten and caring fellow. I am a social person. My personality treats like
helping others, has always helped me with bundles of friends to my side. I prefer others; I love to
help the fellows of my society and my community. Helping others however, is a good recognition.
One feels happy, elated and cheerful always. Happiness can be practically experienced
whenever, you help others; you realize the smile on their faces and prayers from their hearts. The
habit of mine who is helping others in excess has to some point, brought also smile for me. I help
my fellow students as well in explaining and assisting in different subjects. Because of that, it
brought me honor to myself for doing such rough things though I still need also to take care of my
own self and my other business too.

Although I see myself on that way, I also struggle mental illness. Sometimes, I find myself
longing for someone like my father who died a year ago. It brought me so much pain that I cannot
easily get over it. I also suffer from stress because of the life we had in pandemic. It is very difficult
to deal with these times since we are in the new normal and there were many changes of our
ways of living. I have friends to go to but I can’t see them personally to hang out because of the
continuous higher case of people infected to the virus. Therefore, I find myself meditating by
singing and listening to songs, watching movies and playing video games. I don’t consider myself
physically fit that way. I am also grateful because my family and my loved ones help me in times
of my need. When I am down, I have my younger brothers to bring me smiles and inspirations too.
Thankfully, they were the ones who motivate me to take this course.

I look at life, especially at this age, as a time to experience new things. A time to get away
from the same everyday routine, and enjoy the short time we have on earth. I like to set goals. The
goal I’m currently striving for is to make this world a better place to live in by starting the changes
with myself. Sure, I’ve had bad experiences in my life too, but this is exactly what made me the
way I am now: grateful, full of love, with a desire to study well because it will help me become a
successful person in future and have a high quality of life. I believe that it is manifesting day by
day and I feel even more responsibility for what I do and where I go. With all I already have, I know
that I’m on the right path and I will do my best to inspire others to live the way they feel like living
as well.
