Exercise 1:

Create a spreadsheet using the following information.

1) Enter the raw data below, applying as many presentation Features (Font, Font Size, Font
Color, Number Formats and Color, Cell Shading, Text Rotation, etc.) to it as you wish.
2) Apply appropriate number formats to your numbers.
3) Give your spreadsheet an appropriate title.
4) Adjust the column width and row height to suit the layout you have selected.
5) Create formulas to calculate totals for each stationery item.
6) Create a formula to calculate the order total for the month.
7) Create a formula to calculate the VAT component of the order. Note that all prices include
VAT and that the value of VAT is 10%.
8) Create a formula to calculate the net total (pre VAT total) of the order for the month.
9) Create a Pie Chart showing the order total for each item.
10) Create a Bar chart showing the order total for each item. Improvise with chart design to
make it appealing to the reader. The order total should be shown above each bar.
11) Add a $500 line plot to the chart created in step 10 to show the order totals less than $500.
12) Highlight the order totals less than $500 in the spreadsheet.
13) Sort the data by the ascending order total
