Public speaking is increasingly becoming one of the most sought after 21st century
skills amongst modern employers. Likewise, active & independent thoughts are
more important in our individual lives than ever. With an increasing demand of self-
expression among young students, this course intends to help correct the balance by
teaching students fundamental skills such as how to coherently speak with a basic
logical flow, how to use active grammar in spoken English and especially how to
pronounce correctly in word and sentence level. Further to this, this course is
dedicated to those who need to equip a range of common topic related vocabulary
and gain more basic knowledge to get ready for higher levels in public speaking
skills.

How to record a video with a smartphone:

Step 1: Turn on your phone. Switch to the camera mode. Press start.

Step 2: Stand straight and tall.

Step 3: Look straight into the lens of the camera and maintain the eye-contact
throughout the presentation.

Step 4: Start with a smile, say hello and introduce your name.

Step 5: Answer the questions. Remember to apply the techniques that you have
learnt. Your presentation should be in 2 – 3 mins.

Step 6: Finish recording. Upload your performance to Google Classroom / Facebook
