Q No.1

Answer:

Strategies for changing syllabus:

A curriculum is your guide to a course and what is expected of you in the course. In general, the
course policy will contain rules and regulations, mandatory texts and a work schedule. A program
can tell you almost everything about how a course works and what is expected of you.

Some of the strategies include the following.

General strategies:

Check out other teachers' programs: Programs vary in format and content. If your department
doesn't have a standard format, use your colleagues' programs as approximate models.

Anticipate common questions the students will be concerned with. The specific course information
that students will most want to know on their first day of class are likely to be:

The topics to be discussed

Number and types of keys and commands

Rating System

Manual and measurements

Attendance policy

Postponed work

Work something

Purpose of the course

Type of course sessions

Required level of preparation or training to successfully complete the course

Keep the schedule flexible.

Anticipate gaps in the schedule by specifying topics to be covered week after week rather than
session after session. Also, consider posting a revised schedule mid-semester to reflect increased
student interest in certain topics. Some classes go faster than others, while some classes are
distracted by specific topics.

Add more material instead of less.

A detailed curriculum is a valuable learning tool for students and reduces their initial fear of
studying. Use lists, informal language, and headings to highlight important topics and help students
find information. It is also helpful to include an index if your program is large.

Provide basic information.

State the current year, semester, course title and number, number of credits, session duration and
location. Also include class meetings that are not scheduled for the assigned name. Include your
name, office address, phone number (and indicate if you have voicemail), email address, fax number,

and hours of operation. Indicate at your office hours whether students must make an appointment
in advance or can come alone. If you enter a private number, indicate the usage restrictions (for
example, "Do not call after 10 PM").

Describe the purpose of the course.

Provide an introduction to the topic and how the course fits into the faculty's curriculum. Explain
what the course is about and why students want or need to learn the material.

Please indicate general learning objectives or learning objectives. What are three to five main goals
that you would expect from all students: What will the students know or be able to do better after
completing this course? What skills or competencies would you like to develop in your students?

List the manual and lectures by author and edition.

Add information about why the specific metrics were selected. Whenever possible, show the
relationship between the lectures and the learning objectives, especially if you are not assigning the
chapters in a textbook in the correct order. Before each lesson, let students know if they should
read. If students need to purchase course books or reading equipment, list prices and where to
purchase them. When you reserve previews in the library, you can specify the sort numbers.

Identify any additional materials or equipment required for the course.

For example, do students need laboratory or safety equipment, painting equipment, calculators,
computers or drawing equipment?

Make a list of homework, theses and exams.

Indicate the type and format of the essays, the expected length of the essays and their deadlines.
State the dates of the exams and briefly describe the exams (multiple choice, essay, short answer,
take-home tests). How do the tasks relate to the learning objectives of the course? What are your
expectations of written work? Try to distribute the workload evenly throughout the semester.

Specify how students will be graded and how points will be awarded.

Describe the scoring process, including the elements of the final grade and the weighting of each
element (for example, homework, quarterly homework, mid-term and final exams). Do you rate on
a curve or do you use an absolute scale? Do you accept extra achievements to improve your grades?
Have the test results diminished?

In case of Syllabus change failure

As a good teacher and manger we must make ourselves ready for the unforeseen events. We plan
for the future and there are possibility that plans( Syllabus Change) might not work accordingly.
Alternative plans should be made so that corrective measures can be taken.

Like current scenario of pandemic there should be a syllabus that can given to students at home and
prepare them for exams. The syllabus for online classes should be prepared in case of requirements.

Question No.3:

Answer:

System Approach:
Course : 8615 B.Ed

The systems approach to management is a concept that regards an organization as comprising three
purposively designed parts that are interconnected: input, process and output.

INPUT PROCESS OUTPUT

The individual components of these three components depend on the type, objectives and level of
the institution. Inputs include human resources (teachers, lecturers, management, support staff,
technicians, etc.), physical and financial resources. The process may relate to quality assurance
practices in an institution or to all activities aimed at achieving the goals of the institution. Outputs
are the products or results of the business. The principle of the systems approach emphasizes the
use of feedback to help correct or minimize errors in the execution of certain operations and
activities. For any organization considering adopting quality management strategies, there are some
quality management principles that should be considered. An example of such a principle is the
systems approach, which determines the identification, understanding and management of a system
of interrelated processes for all objectives that improve the organization.

Efficiency. This approach plays an important role in any continuous improvement process and offers
great benefits to the organization.

Benefits of System Approach:

The primary benefits of system approach in regards to quality management can be seen on a short
and long term scale. These benefits include the following:

1. Incorporation and configuration of processes that will best ensure return/output on

investment/input.

2. Capacity to concentrate efforts on the primary processes.

3. Giving confidence to relevant parties in regards to the reliability, success and efficiency of the
organization.

The systems approach to management introduces a structured configuration where personnel work
as a combined unit. The system is efficient; it provides an orderly plan of action with personnel
having PROCESS APPROACH:

Consistent and predictable results are achieved more effectively and efficiently when activities are
understood clearly defined responsibilities that overlap and interlock to ensure that absence of a
member results in minimal loss of productivity. By improving workflow, it frees the management of
the routine details of operations management.

Feedback provides a good basis of control, leading to higher quality of products. Overall, the
approach improves strategic and management decision-making due to the interrelationships
between the various subsystems.

and managed as interrelated processes that function as a coherent system. The quality management
system consists of interrelated processes. Understanding how results are produced by this system
enables an organization to optimize the system and its performance.

Advantage:

Increased ability to focus efforts on key processes and areas for improvement

Consistent and predictable results thanks to a system of coordinated processes

Course : 8615 B.Ed

Optimized performance through efficient process management, efficient use of resources and
reduced cross-functional barriers

Enable the organization to give stakeholders confidence in its consistency, effectiveness and
efficiency

Actions You Can Take Define system goals and the processes required to achieve them.

Establish authority, responsibility, and accountability for process management.

Understand organizational skills and identify resource constraints before taking action.

Determine the dependencies of processes and analyze the effects of changes in individual processes
on the overall system.

Manage processes and their interrelationships as a system to effectively and efficiently achieve the
quality goals of the organization.

Ensure that the necessary information is available to operate and improve processes and to monitor,
analyze and evaluate the performance of the overall system.

Manage risks that could affect process outcomes and the overall results of the quality management
system.

IMPORTANCE OF SYSTEM APPROACH:

As an interdisciplinary approach that considers the needs of customers, the systems approach will
ensure quality outputs that meet user requirements. This is because the approach systematically
integrates all functions into an interrelated team effort, providing a structured framework for the
development process that proceeds from concept to production. This ensures that all the system
functions are optimized to achieve maximum compatibility for enhanced productivity. By leveraging
feedback, such as assessment of work done, identification of deviations, and corrective action,
changes can be effected to better accomplish the task.

WAYS TO ACHIEVE SYSTEM APPROACH:

The systems approach consists of five steps, and each step helps organizations build more effective
systems within their operations and objectives. These steps include:

A. Provide an overview of the system by identifying or developing specific processes that can ensure
that certain objectives are met.

B. Organize the system to achieve the objective in the most efficient way possible, with a clear plan
that can be implemented by the competent authorities.

C. Understand the relationship between each of the individual processes in the system and how they
relate to each other to form a complete system.

D. Continuous expansion of the system through reports, goal metrics, and periodic system
evaluations.

E. Evaluate the resources required to implement processes to determine resource limitations

before implementing each process in the system.

When these steps are taken into account when developing systems within the organization, the
processes become much more efficient. This, in turn, will help ensure quality management and
continuous improvement in the workplace through effective systems.
