On this setup, you can see the materials and furniture are
children friendly in height. You can easily see the students
since the height of the chairs, tables and cabinets are below
of their height. The corners are based on the needs of
sunlight just like in science area and reading nook area.
There are some areas that are multipurpose since the room
is not big as we expected.

On this classroom setting, you can definitely see that the

On a waldorf classroom, you can definitely see that most of


their materials and their classroom settings are more
connected on the environment. The features of their
approach are to have its connection to nature, sensory
learning and imagination. This means that the environment
is their third teacher.

As what we can see in the classroom, bank street approach


does have a lot of materials that is somehow modern and
gives holistic development to the students.
The Bank Street approach, known as the developmental-
interaction approach, recognizes that all individuals learn
best when they are actively engaged with materials, ideas,
and people, and that authentic growth requires diverse and
nurturing opportunities for ongoing social, emotional, and
cognitive development.

On traditional classroom, this is what we always see on our


classroom especially to the western countries. Most of the
areas found in the different curriculum. In this type of
classroom we can see that learning areas are multipurpose
because some of classroom areas are not that big and we
need more space for the learning of the students.
