Catching a plane

When you arrive at the airport, you should go straight to the check-in
desk where your ticket and luggage are checked.
You keep your hand luggage with you but your suitcases are taken to the
plane on a conveyor belt. You can now go to the departure lounge.
If you are on an international flight, your passport is checked, and then
you and your bags are X-rayed by security cameras; sometimes you are
given a body search and your luggage is searched by a security officer.
You wait in the departure longe until your flight is called and you are
told which number gate to go to.
Finally you board your plane and you are shown to your seat by a flight
attendant.
