Forum #1: Self-Awareness

I have been filled with so many thoughts for months already and honestly speaking I
don't know how to collect everything nor express it in a way that I myself would also
understand. As I am writing this now, I am in puzzled for words looking for the right
angle to begin what I want to say and to seek my point. And as I reckon it over and
over again–I think that is fine. It is fine if sometimes you don't know what to say or if
you suddenly feel that you're out of words. You do not need to push yourself too hard
only just to prove a point. You don't need to please anyone for them to understand and
accept you. I want to give myself an advice that it's okay to be weak sometimes, it's
okay to cry in front of your family and friends, and it's okay to be vulnerable and
fragile to them.

I want to say to myself that I am so proud of you. Thank you for being strong for us.
You have been so vicious and strong for the past 10 years and I am glad and thankful
that you never thought of giving up despite all the problems you have encountered.
You trampled many times and yet you always stand firm and walk with
determination. You always keep and do things on your own and I want to say that it's
okay to ask for help from others. There are things that we can't do on our own and it's
fine if you ask the people whom you trust to lend you a hand.

I know that you are invariably concern about your future and unsure about
everything. You often questioned yourself whether you chose the right decision and in
this moment I want to say this phrase in tagalog "Chill ka lang" our "Puhon" will turn
into reality. Have faith in yourself future nurse and let's always claim and manifest the
success of being more than just a Nurse in the future. As I am in the brim of ending
my writing, I hope that 10 years from now you finally become the woman you wish to
be and when that happens I couldn't be even more proud and happy for you more than
anyone else. I wish to see you myself at that moment wearing your dream white coat
and the smile that expresses success and proud.
