1.) What is the Internet? What is an intranet? How are they related?

The Internet is used to connect multiple networks of computers at the same time. Because it is a
public network, anyone can connect to the internet. There are many users on the internet, and it
delivers an infinite amount of information to them.

An intranet is a sort of internet that is utilized secretly. Because it is a private network, no one
can access the intranet. There are a restricted number of users on an intranet, and it gives a limited
amount of information to its users.

There are several parallels between the Internet and intranets. At their most basic, they are
both computer networks that allow users to communicate and access information. Indeed, the Internet
began in the 1960s with just a few US defense computers linked together. They also provide access to
similar communication and collaboration capabilities. But that's where the parallels end. Intranets, on
the other hand, are private networks where all users are known. This is extremely beneficial to everyone
on an intranet network. They can have faith in the information they are receiving while still knowing that
whoever watches the information they share is under their control. Users can efficiently interact and
collaborate on an intranet in this manner.

2.) What is the World Wide Web, and how does it relate to the Internet?

The internet is a massive network of computers that are all linked together. The world wide web
(abbreviated ‘www' or ‘web') is a collection of webpages located on this computer network. To access
the web, your web browser connects to the internet.

The Internet is a global network of networks, whereas the Web, often known formally as the
World Wide Web (www), is a collection of information accessible over the Internet. Another way to look
at it is that the Internet is infrastructure, whereas the Web is a service built on top of that infrastructure.
