SCHEDULE AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR TERM 1 ONLINE PRACTICAL EXAMINATION - CLASS XII

Dear Parents
Greetings!
The Term 1 Online Practical examination for class XII will be held from Monday 20th September 2021 to Friday 24th
September 2021. Kindly go through the schedule for Term 1 Online Practical examination and important guidelines general
and subject specific regarding the conduct of the practical examination given below. No Offline/ Online classes will be held
during this week. Kindly go through general instructions for the practical:
1. The Practical shall be conducted as per schedule given below. The students are expected to login 5 min before on MS Teams
on the day of the Practical to avoid any network issues. All students have to appear for the Practical exam.
2. Parents are requested to monitor the student's activity during the exam as they will not be allowed to leave the camera view
during the practical exam.
3. Kindly make sure the camera should work during the examination. Otherwise, the practical of the child will not be
accepted. Children have to appear in proper summer uniform for the Practical exam.

SUBJECT SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR TERM 1 PRACTICALS:

1. ENGLISH: ASSESSMENT OF SPEAKING & LISTENING SKILLS (10 MARKS)

• Assessment of listening skill will be conducted on all class teams.
• The students to remain present on the day of assessment.
• No retest will be conducted for the absentees.
• After listening to the tracks , the students will answer the questions in MS Forms.

2. PHYSICS:
• There will be written exam for practical. In this student are supposed to write two practicals.
• Students are supposed to take observations using simulations from OLABS. Print screen of the observations are to be uploaded along with answer sh
• Complete your practical files with experiments (04) and activities (03). And same to be uploaded on class notebook by 18.9.21.
• Practical files are to be shown during viva. No Viva voice will be conducted if child doesn't show file on camera.
• Marks distribution: 02 Experiments- 08M, Practical file record – 02M and Viva Voice- 5M.

3. ACCOUNTANCY:
• A written test will be conducted from Accounting Ratios.
• Prepare Financial statements of a Company, Analysis of Financial statements (Theory chapter) and Accounting Ratios for Viva.
• File work should be uploaded in the Class Notebook by 15/9/21(if not done till now).
• Practical files are to be shown during Viva. No Viva will be conducted if child doesn’t show file on camera.
• Division of Marks: Written Paper – 6 marks File – 2 marks and Viva – 2 marks

4. HISTORY: PRACTICAL EXAMINATION TERM-1(10 MARKS)

• Students will be required to submit the project file/PPT on any one topic assigned to them from the list given by CBSE in class
Notebook section of their respected class on Teams by 17.9.21.
• Students must document the information presented during the term-1 presentation and class notebook work (Print form PDF)
compiled in separate folder in class Notebook section of their respected class on Teams by 17.9.21.
• Read your project-file twice or thrice before VIVA.
• All group members/Pairs/Individuals must make presentation/demonstrate their part of work by using any tool e.g., PPT/Role
play/exhibition/or Group Discussion/ along with project file by turning on camera.
• Division of marks: File/PPT – 6 marks and Viva – 4 marks.
• Print outs of PPT/script of role play must be enclosed in the project-file.
 5. CHEMISTRY :
Instructions for Chemistry Practical
• Students to show practical files with both the titrations and two salts (ammonium chloride, lead nitrate) on camera and upload
in class notebook of your section on teams by 17.9.21.

For VIVA
• Students to learn the ionic equations and complete procedure for Volumetric analysis (Titrations)
• Students to learn Preliminary and confirmatory tests for anions.
Carbonate, sulphide, sulphite, chloride, bromide, iodide, nitrate, acetate, and sulphate
• No separate written test but for VIVA students may be asked to write.

6. BUSINESS STUDIES:
• Prepare full syllabus of Term 1 for Viva.
• File work should be uploaded in the class notebook by 15/9/21.
• Practical files/PPT are to be shown during Viva. No Viva will be conducted if child doesn’t show file on camera.
• Division of marks: File/PPT – 6marks and Viva – 4 marks.

7. POLITICAL SCIENCE:
• Prepare full Syllabus of Term 1 for Viva
• Complete notebook work as per Term 1 syllabus.
• Project File work should be uploaded in the class notebook by 15/9/21.
• Practical files/PPT are to be shown during viva. No Viva will be conducted if child doesn’t show file on camera.
• Division of marks: File/PPT – 5 Marks and Viva – 5 Marks

8. MATHEMATICS:
• All students to submit scanned copy of complete file to respective Math teacher on the day of Practical Exam.
• Complete File and Revise all concepts from NCERT textbook for Viva.
• No Viva if child doesn't show file on camera.
 9. APPLIED MATH:
• All students to submit scanned copy of complete file to respective Math teacher on the day of Practical Exam.
• Complete File and Revise all concepts from NCERT textbook for Viva.
• No Viva if child doesn't show file on camera.

10. PSYCHOLOGY: TERM 1 (15 Marks)

• In term 1 the student is introduced to administration, scoring, interpretation, & report writing of any 2 psychological tests.
• In Practical examination of term 1, the student will be required to administer & interpret any one psychological test.
• Distribution of Marks (Term 1)
Practical File – 5 Marks
Viva Voce – 3 Marks
Administration of one test & report writing – 7 Marks
• All students to submit scanned copy of complete file on Assignments on teams
VIVA
• Complete file & related chapters from NCERT textbook (Ch.1 & 2)
• Chapter 2 of class XI (Methods of enquiry in Psychology)
• Printouts of Blank Answer sheets of both psychological tests must be kept ready for administering on the day of the practical
exam

11. LEGAL STUDIES:

• Prepare full Syllabus of Term 1 for Viva
• Complete notebook work as per Term 1 syllabus.
• Project File work should be uploaded in the class notebook by 20/9/21. PDF of handwritten project file
• Project work are to be shown during viva. No Viva will be conducted if child doesn’t show file on camera.
• Division of marks: File/PPT – 5 Marks and Viva – 5 Marks

12. PAINTING / SCULPTURE:

Instructions for PAINTING Practical exam:
• All Students to submit PPT of Complete practical Portfolio File (work done from day one to till date) at least one day before
Practical.
• There will be ONE Practical (Figurative composition) Exam on the day of practical examination, as well as viva.
• Students are required to show their PAINTINGS (hard copy) on camera on the day of Practical Examination during the meeting.
• Be ready with A2 sheet and all drawing and painting material on the day of practical exam.
• Distribution of marks:
Portfolio practical work and viva: 10 marks
 Painting: 25 marks (composition)

Sculpture:
• All Students need to submit PPT of Complete practical Portfolio File at least one day before Practical.
• There will be ONE practical (Relief sculpture) Exam on the day of practical examination, as well as viva.
• Students are required to show their Portfolio File as well as Project work on the day of Practical Examination during the meeting.
• Distribution of marks:
Practical (Relief sculpture) - 25 Marks,
Portfolio Practical Work and Viva-10 marks,
*Be ready with clay, base board (hard board for sculpture), newspaper, modelling tools and water container on the day of
practical exam.

13. PHYSICAL EDUCATION:

• All students have to submit scanned copy of the Project File (About one sport/game of choice) & all chapters from Term-1
(1,2,5,6,8) Saraswati textbook to be thoroughly prepared for Viva.
• Distribution of Marks: TERM I – PRACTICAL
Project File (About one sport/game of choice) 05 Marks
Demonstration of Fitness Activity 05 Marks
Viva Voce (From Project File; Fitness) 05 Marks

14. BIOLOGY: (Max Marks- 15)

• There will be written exam for practical. In this students are supposed to write
two practicals and spotting.
• Students are supposed to take observations using simulations from OLABS. Print
screen of the observations are to be uploaded along with answer sheet.
• Complete your practical files with experiments (01 and 02) and observations
(1,2,3,4 and 5). And same to be uploaded in class notebook by 18.9.21
• Practical files are to be shown during viva. No Viva voice will be conducted if child
doesn't show file on camera.
• Marks distribution: Major +Minor Experiments- 7M, Observation spotting-3 M,
Practical file-Project record, and Viva Voice- 5M

 15. ECONOMICS:
TERM-I PROJECT WORK: 10 Marks
1) Completed FILE must be uploaded in class notebook of your respective section team by Sep 18 (if not done yet)
Points to be covered:
TOPIC PAGE, CERTIFICATE, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, LIST OF CONTENTS
• Introduction
• Statement of Purpose/Need and Objective of the Study
• Review of Literature
• Methodology
• Data Collection (Primary/Secondary/Both) and presentation (Tables, Graphs, Diagrams, Charts, News clippings, Flow charts,
relevant cartoons)
• Content analysis and its relevance in the current scenario
• Conclusion, Limitations
• Bibliography.
• Maximum pages 40 and Minimum pages 25
• Overall Presentation has to be good
2) During Viva- Key research points to be explained by the child and file should be thoroughly prepared
3) No Viva if child doesn't submit File in class notebook by 16th September and doesn't show file on camera.
4) NO PPTs will be accepted.

16. COMPUTER SCIENCE: PRACTICAL - TERM 1 (15 Marks)

Python Programming - 6 marks
Practical File - 4 marks
Project Synopsis File - 3 marks
Viva - 2 marks
Instructions for CS Practical exam:
• There will be two programs to be done by each student - one from FUNCTIONS & other from DATA FILE HANDLING.
• Students need to submit the solutions in PDF form along with the Program & Output as well as share their screens to show the
solution/code of program.
• Viva will be conducted from complete TERM-1 Syllabus.
• Soft copy of Practical File & PROJECT SYNOPSIS needs to be uploaded on the team’s folder.
• Viva will be conducted according to the Project Group Members.
• No retest will be conducted for the absentees.
17. INFORMATICS PRACTICES: PRACTICAL - TERM 1 (15 Marks)
Python Pandas 1 - 8 marks
Practical File - 3 marks
Project - 2 marks
Viva - 2 marks

• Be ready with Python platforms

• There will be practical test of 8 marks in Python. Any child can be made presenter to show his solution/code of practical questions.
• You need to submit the screenshots of the Program code & Output as in in PDF form.
• Prepare for viva from Term1 syllabus.
• Practical file and project report need to be submitted/uploaded in the prescribed folder on team.
• Practical file and working of projects to be shown during viva.
• Viva will be taken in breakout room with project group members.

18. HOME SCIENCE: Term 1 (15marks)

• All Students to submit Scanned copy of Complete File (if not submitted) at least one day before Practical
• There will be written practical as well as viva.
• Students are required to show their Practical File as well as Project work on the day of Practical Examination during the meeting.
• Distribution of marks:
Project Work and File - 5,
Viva - 3 marks,
Written Work - 7 marks.
