6. The goal of the department of Health’s NCD is to be free from the avoidable burden of NCD’s, in preventing
and controlling this disease we should do these as follows:

- Be Physically Active. This Promotes good health and contributes weight loss, glycemic control and it improves
blood pressure and insulin sensitivity.
- Avoid Cigarette Smoking. One of the risk factor contributing to NCD is smoking, that would roughly cause lung
cancer, if not prevented.
- Promote Healthy Eating. Controlling sodium intake prevents increase of blood cholesterol and minimizes the risks
of developing NCDs.
- Avoid Alcohol Drinking. Excessive alcohol consumption causes mal absorption, inflammation of the GI tract, liver
problems and cancer.
- Prevention of Viruses. Viruses that cause cancers are known for its name oncoviruses.
- Prevent Radiation. Roughly solar radiation is the primary source of UV radiation and the major cause of skin
cancer.
- Avoid Drug Abuse. Certain abuses carries a high risks of stroke from cerebral emboli. Cocaine abuse is one of
the risks closely related stokes, heart attacks and a variety of other cardiovascular complications.
- Attentive in Chemicals and Environmental agents. Avoidance in eating burned foods or smoked foods in
