What is Openstack ?
OpenStack is an open source platform that uses pooled virtual
resources to build and manage private and public clouds. The tools that comprise
the OpenStack platform, called "projects," handle the core cloud-computing
services of compute, networking, storage, identity, and image services.

Installation steps for Openstack -

Step1 - Create a Virtual Machine on your VMWare or Oracle Virtual Box.

Step 2 - We will change some network settings using the following commands.
Step 3 -Install OpenStack Newton Release for CentOS

OpenStack Newton package is installed on our Cent OS VM.

Step 4- Update your current packages
Step 5 - Install Packstack for OpenStack Newton

Step 6- Start Packstack to install OpenStack Newton

Step 7- Note the username and password from the 'keystonerc_admin' file
Step 8 -Login to the Horizon Dashboard using the credentials from the previous
step

Conclusion -
Openstack installation has been done successfully .
