Question 1: Do you like watching films?
Answer: Definitely, I love watching films, all genres of them. I try to absorb and
enjoy as many different kinds of films as I can, whether it be the blockbuster
Avengers: End Game, emotional roller coaster-like Parasite, or visual effects such as
The Lion King. Film is a medium that can transport you to radically different worlds
and environments. That’s why I and so many others love it.

Question 2: Do you prefer foreign films or films made in your country?

Answer: Well, I would say both, the only thing that matters is that the story should be
good. I like watching films with unexpected plot twist. The plot twist plays a
significant role in the success of a movie. It is the factor that captures the audience’s
attention and lead them from surprise to another surprise. So, for me the story matters,
everything else is secondary.

1. Do you like watch films?

Absolutely! They are an excellent way to unwind (relax; free your mind).
Moreover, my friends are really into films, so it’s a fun, relaxing way to spend time
together. Afterwards, we discuss and debate the film that we have just watched. Apart
from just relaxing and enjoying the film, I like to delve deeper (get to the deeper
meaning) to discover the subliminal messages.
Yes I do, in fact I’m actually a movie buff. I find pleasure in watching different types
of movies and to be honest I have numerous personal favorites of each type of film. I
can’t imagine my life without watching films, it has been a huge part of my life.

2. What kinds of movies do you like best?

A1:  Well, I would say I’m still a kid at heart, so I really enjoy watching kids’ movies.
Although they seem simple and innocent, there are often many life lessons packed
into these films. Moreover, I’m really into drama and historical movies. When I watch
these, I feel that I can more deeply understand human emotions and re-live historical
moments, like the Vietnam-America War or World War II.

A2:  I do enjoy marathon-viewing on all kinds of films, however, on the top of my list
is comedy. Well it’s obvious, I want to laugh! There’s no one in this world who
doesn’t want to laugh. Everyone of us wants to laugh our heads off as it is the best
medicine in life. I always make sure that I can spend time watching comedy films.

3. How often do you go to a cinema to watch a movie?
Because of the existence of internet, I rarely spend time watching movies in
theatre. I love to watch movies in the comfort of my home, aside from the fact that it’s
convenient, I almost don’t need to spend money. Going to a cinema is really costly,
not only you spend money on tickets but you also have to pay for your snacks and
fuel of your car.

4.  Do you like to watch movies alone or with your friends?

Both! On one hand, I find it extremely relaxing to chill out and fall asleep to a
film by myself, but it’s also enjoyable to have company. So, all in all, I prefer films
with friends, since they are also into film. Afterwards, we can discuss the meaning
and carry on inside jokes from quotes from the film later on!

5. Do people in your country like to go to a cinema to watch a film?

I would say so. Since people like to go out with their families on the weekends,
this is often an activity that they would choose. Moreover, teenagers enjoy this
activity as a way to get out of the house. Furthermore, it’s often a popular date option
for many people .

When it comes to my favorite movie, off the top of my head, I would say it’s Mad Max: Fury
Road. It is the sequel of the Mad Max series and starred Hollywood A-list movie stars namely
Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult.
Actually, this movie was released in 2015 but it was not until 2 years ago that I first watched it.
One of my best friend, Trinh, recommended this movie to me, saying that it was truly
a masterpiece.
The movie was set in post-apocalyptic when Max, played by by Tom Hardy is captured by a
strange group of people who are led by a tyrannical ruler named Immortan Joe. Later on, he joins
with Joe’s lieutenant named Furiosa who rebels against him in search for her homeland with the
aid of Joe’s seven wives
Regarding my feelings about this movie, I have to admit that this film really pleased my eyes
with its breath-taking visual and sound effects right from the first few moments. What sets Mad
Max: Fury Road apart from the previous Mad Max film and other action movies is that it
champions feminism and shows the necessity of freedom from patriarchy, which is generally not
the case with most action movies.

Well, my favourite movie which I have seen recently is absolutely Ocean’s 8 (the latest
movie this month June 2108). It is an American heist comedy film directed by Gary
Ross and features a phenomenal cast, including Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna and
other brilliantly talented stars, who share the spotlight and work well with one another.

The film follows a group of women, led by Debbie Ocean, who plan a highly sophisticated
heist of the Met Gala in New York. The opening scene is Sandra Bullock at her parole
meeting and the parole officers asked her what she would do if she was released. 

Within minutes however, she’s back to her old tricks: lying, stealing and reuniting with her old
partner in crime, Lou. The target is the Cartier diamond necklace they will persuade Anne
Hathaway to wear before stealing at Met Gala. 

I would say I was most concerned about Rihanna being in the film because she is the one that
seems to have the least experience but she was fine with funny and authentic performance.

The best part of the movie is the glamorous outfits they wear - so  amazing and
glorious. Additionally, the great Jazz music that plays over these sequences plus the famous New
York City locations really draw audience’s attention throughout 2 hours without getting bored. 

Finally one thing that I really enjoyed about the movie particularly at the ending is that it
depicted women wanting money simply to achieve their own personal dreams. That makes a
very satisfying ending. All in all, it’s a beautiful looking movie, breezy and super watchable.
If you are looking something fun and pleasant to kill time, this movie is definitely worth
watching.

My favorite film is Titanic film , a love story film. The film tells me about the love
affair of Jack Dawson with Rose Dewitt Bukater and the sinking of a luxury ship on
its voyage to the Atlantic Ocean. Many thousands of people in the ship died including
Jack Dawson because of an iceberg. I find it very moving and fascinating. Also,
through the film, I realize that I must appreciate life and what I have.

ones?

Watching movies is a popular mean of entertainment for everyone, especially young

people. There are various kind of movie but some researchs showed that young people
and children tend to have more interest towards violent film for reasons such as its
fantastic action scenes and dramatic sound effects

2. What’s the difference between the young and the old in the types of film they
enjoy?

There are various kind of movie but some researchs showed that young people and
children tend to have more interest towards violent film for reasons such as its
fantastic action scenes and dramatic sound effects. Old people like romantic, light-
hearted movies like romance movies. Films belong to the past such as historical
documentaries, historical films.

3. Do young people in your place like watching old films?

I’m really into drama and historical movies. When I watch these, I feel that I can more
deeply understand human emotions and re-live historical moments, like the Vietnam-

4. Why do young people nowadays adore movie stars?

I think because they are beautiful, they are rich, they have tall houses and large
houses. Especially , they are talented. They persuade viewers with their acting
talents , which always gives people a very deep impression .
