on the data giving meaningful results. Computers are very useful, not just to perform calculation
but to store large quantities of information for long period of time. It has both memory and
processing capabilities, making it is very influential to lives of the human beings for the recent
decades.

Most computers comes on the market today have the components : a professor, RAM, a
monitor , a hard disk drive, a mouse, a CD-ROM drive , a sound card, and a modem. In addition,
you might want or need components that aren’t part of your computer’s package, such as DVD
drive printer and scanner, The rest of this lesson explain what these components usually
peripherals, are how they are use.

Most computer come with mouse, A mouse is just a pointing device for selecting items on the
screen designs are different, including the mouse which you can do some added tricks . An
alternative to the mouse is track ball, a stationary cradle containing a ball that you role with your
fingertips. Laptop computers another alternative the touchpad- a pressure –sensitive surface built
into the keyboard console cursor by tracing your finger on the touchpad itself.

The computers keyboard is the one of the basic way of entering information into the computer,
so most computer have one except certain types of handle device. If you’ve used a typewriter,
you can use computer keyboard. Keyboards come in variety of styles the Microsoft Keyboard
shown below has an ergonomic design that reduces the muscle and tendon strain in the wrist,
arms, and elbows.

Monitors are requirements, so they are often included as standard equipment, but not always
today, monitors are available in all price ranges. Most people think the bigger monitor, the better,
as long as it fits with their allotted budget range. Granted, bigger is more expensive, but today a
17-inch monitor doesn’t cost much more than 15-inch monitor and the difference is more than
worth it. The more screen space you have, the easier it is so work your application on the
computer.
