Describe your experience:

 Provide a thoughtful reflection of your experience. What gospel principle from this week did you
teach? Include specific quotes or references to scripture or prophetic teachings that you used.
 How did it go? How did you feel while teaching and afterward? What reaction or feedback did you
receive?
 What teaching methods did you use (thought-provoking question, discussion, game, object lesson,
video, other method)?

Since I was very young I was born with an allergy to humidity, for that detail I was not good at any sport,
my chest quickly hurt and I was short of breath.
As the years went by I grew taller and skinnier, I wasn't attractive to girls, and I couldn't socialize very well
with young people because I wasn't immersed in sports.
I was very sad, my family did not have many financial resources, for this reason I did not have many
school or friendship activities.
Something else that saddened me was that I was born that lingual frenulum, that does not allow me until
today to pronounce the letter r, in addition that I became anxious and stuttered a lot.
How complicated isn't it?

Describe the insights you gained:

 What did you learn from this experience about being a teacher of the gospel?
 What deeper insights or understanding of the principle(s) being taught did you gain from teaching
the principle(s) to another person?

Even so, I believe that I was very blessed with the company of God, He comforted me in those moments
that I felt alone, and very sad. The best medicine was reading the Book of Mormon.
Because I felt very loved and special of my Heavenly Father, my parents were a great consolation,
because my father was very patient with me, when I felt sad and saw everything negative, and complained
about my physical and social situation, he with love advised me.
Now after many years later, I am still with lingual frenulum, a little skinny, but now I have a better
personality.
Yesterday I had a conversation with my wife, we disagreed about a marketing issue from a beef business
that we have together. The topic of discussion was that in the beef business we deliver meat at home and
we do not charge shipping. I am the one who distributes the orders to the clients, I start at 9 am, but due to
a lack of organization I finish delivering at 6pm and that is not right. I was telling my wife that we must treat
clients well, that I am the one who sees them personally. It happened that the meat grinder broke the
blade, so my wife became very sad and wanted to give up.
And I expressed to my wife, that for many years when I was young, I wasted time lamenting or feeling sad
for not having a more athletic physical body, or because I could not speak clearly or pronounce the letter
"R". Today that no longer affects me, today I have much more self-esteem for myself, I have a more
fighting and energetic attitude.
I do not know until today the reason why I came to earth with those weaknesses, however, I want to think
that it was to strengthen my character, mature, learn to overcome obstacles.
I have been wrong many times when making decisions, but I have felt the love of a loving God, who has
strengthened me, listened to me, and devised a plan so that I could progress.
I love my wife, and just wanted to make her understand that we must persevere.
