TROYSOL™ S366

DESCRIPTION
General Chemistry: Nonionic siloxane copolymer.
Troysol™ S366 is a specially formulated surface
active compound supplied as a 60% active pale
yellow solution, that prevents craters, pinholes, and
fisheyes in non-aqueous systems.
USE
Troysol™ S366 is recommended for resin systems
that generally exhibit inadequate flow properties,
and for finishing applications where inadequate
substrate preparation is encountered. Troysol™
S366 improves flow properties of poorly wetting
vehicles and eliminates film imperfections caused
by insufficiently cleaned substrates, difficult to wet
substrates, or substrates contaminated by silicone or
oil. Typical applications include:
• Epoxies
• Urethanes
• Acrylics
• Alkyd amino systems

• Vinyls
• Chlorinated rubber
• UV curables

INCORPORATION
Troysol™ S366 performs best when added at the
end of the manufacturing process. As a low
viscosity liquid, Troysol™ S366 will mix readily
into the system with mild agitation.
USE LEVEL
Troysol™ S366 is extremely effective at very low
dosages. Levels of 0.2% to 0.6% based on total
formulation weight are sufficient for most
applications. All levels should be tested thoroughly
for effects on coating properties, particularly
intercoat adhesion.

HANDLING AND STORAGE
Keep away from heat and open flame. Store at
temperatures below 35°C (95°F). Consult product
