    WARREN AND ADALINE KOLEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    Warren and Adaline Kolen were both born and raised in Coos County.
    Warren was the captain of the MHS football team and graduated in 1936.
    Adaline graduated from NB in 1937. The Kolen’s were the original owners
    of Vend West and Warren ran the operation from 1954 until 1980. They
    were both involved in the community and were especially active in the CB
    Lion’s Club. Warren and Adaline believed in the value of continuing
    education beyond high school.
