CRITICAL DISCOVERIES OF LIFE

By DIGC 30 August 2021 Share:

Until your identity can be defined by you, obscurity remains your portion.

SCRIPTURE: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until your identity can be defined by you, obscurity remains your portion.

Previously, we saw that discovery is key to destiny fulfilment. That is true! Discovery must be in place if destiny must
be fulfilled.

Now, the question is, what discoveries are you to make?

1. The discovery of whose you are

You must discover whose you are to be relevant in life. You must discover who owns you. You must come to a point
and ask, “Who owns me?” What do you know of your Maker?

Daniel 11:32 says,

“…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

This means, those who know their God shall be audacious and do exploits. You must discover whose you are.

Knowing God is a continuous process (Philippians 3:10). The more you discover the God you serve, the more
authority you gather. This was why Moses prayed and asked God to show him His Glory.

2. Discover who you are

John 1:22-23 says,

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of
thyself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the
prophet Esaias.

Please note how John described himself. John did not say, “I am a voice” Rather, he said “I am the voice”. John
seemed to have told the people, “I am that voice Isaiah spoke about. I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness
that said everyone should make straight the way of the Lord”.

Beloved, until you know who you are, nobody has the right to know who you are. Until your identity can be defined by
you, obscurity remains your portion. God forbid.

Remember this: Until your identity can be defined by you, obscurity remains your portion.

ASSIGNMENTS:

SECRETS TO THE TOP” by Dr Paul Enenche.
