RD updated the members on the highlights of the emergency meeting of the NMTF for COVID-19 on 16 August which focused on the health situation ofthe region. Despite the downgrading of the quarantine measure for Cagayan de Oro City from ECQ to MECQ, the health situation has not improved. Based on the rate of infection and utilization of health care resources, DOH-X sounded the alarm and reported that the region is currently at Alert Level 4 or the highest alert level. RD Cariffo also shared that DOH X reiterated its request for everyone's cooperation in fighting COVID-19. While the Recovery Cluster is Continuously intensifying its efforts to jumpstart the economy, itis also supporting the region's IEC campaign on strictly adhering to health protocols.
