REFLECTION PAPER 2

So the video first talked about the four functions of management

and the role of technology. Wherein the first function is Planning, which
is determining the goals and ways to achieve them. The second function
is organizing, which is simply combining and allocating resources
available to the team. And the third function is directing, which involves
influencing and overseen stop behavior in order to reach the goals. And
then lastly the fourth function is controlling, which is monitoring the
progress toward reaching the goals.
And then it talked about how do we have so many technology tools
or how technology can help executing each of these functions, and how
we have different categories of technology tools, data analysis tools,
audio/video tools, sharing and collaboration tools, virtual learning and
education software tools, and erp and student information system
software tools that can help us. And that all these tools really help us to
facilitate the execution of the four functions of Management. So to be
aware of all these tools that help us to facilitate and streamline the
execution of the functions of management is really important and it's key
to success.
