The research map of the intellectual productions of master thesis and the priority of
research needs and the contemporary innovations in Islamic education

Abstract: This study aimed at detecting the research map of intellectual productions and the priority of professional needs and the
contemporary innovations of 90 master thesis in in Islamic Education (IE). In order to achieve study objectives, a descriptive methods was
used. An analysis content tool and an interview cards were used in order to collect data. The study results showed that 78% of total number
of thesis used a descriptive approach, and the most areas studied was in favor of the of curriculum evaluation 31%, while the lowest
percentage was in the area of e-learning, educational administration, and women's issues 3%, 1% and 1% respectively. In light of the results
several recommendations were proposed. Also the results showed that the priority of research needs is to focus on experimental type of
research and on the innovation of Islamic heritage and Islamic Jurisprudence. Also the T- test results show that there is a significant
differences between male and female points’ of views in accordance to priority of research needs and the contemporary innovations domains
in favor of female. In the light of the study results many recommendations were proposed.
