Online LL.M CET Exam Guidlines 22.11. 2020
The Department of Law, University of Mumbai is conducting Online LL.M. Common Entrance Exam for
admission of LL.M. (Two Years) Degree Course for the academic year 2020-2021.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed LL.B. Degree Course or those who are in the Final Semester of
3 or 5 years LL.B. Degree Course from the University of Mumbai or other recognized University are
eligible to apply for online LL.M. Common Entrance Examination. Candidates who are currently pursuing
LL.M. will be required to cancel their earlier LL.M. Admission before taking admission for new LL.M.
Degree Course.
Application for Online LL.M. Entrance Examination should be made in the prescribed form which is
available on the Website http://mu.ac.in/portal/department-of-law/
ADMISSION FOR LL.M TWO YEARS DEGREE COURSE SHALL BE MADE STRICTLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE MERIT LIST OF THE LL.M. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND RESERVATION POLICY OF THE
GOVERNMENT AS WELL AS UNIVERSITY NORMS.
Candidates are required to secure Minimum Qualifying Marks in the LL.M. Entrance Examination as
under:
The LL.M. Entrance Examination Test paper will consist of 50 Objective type questions with multiple
choice for total 100 marks. There shall be no negative marking system for wrong answers.
Date for Practice Exam : 27th Nov 2020 to 30th Nov 2020
Entrance Exam Fee for General Category Students : Rs. 650/- (Online Payment)
(non- refundable)
Entrance Exam Fee for Reserved Category Students : Rs. 350/- (Online Payment)

(5) Law of Contract (6) Administrative Law (7) Human Rights Law (8) Family Law (9) Company Law
After the declaration of result of LL.M. CET Exam, students should apply to the institutions where they
wish to take admission. List and other details of the institutions/ colleges offering LL.M. Degree Course is
available on http://mu.ac.in/portal/department-o-law/.
The mode of Payment of LL.M. CET Exam Fee will be Online on https://register-mu-law.offee.in
Note:
1. Appearing in online LL.M. Common Entrance Test will not ensure the admission for LL.M. Degree
Course. Admission will be strictly in accordance with the merit in entrance examination process
and reservation policy & government as well as university norms. Incomplete forms of form
covering false information is liable to be rejected.
2. In the event of a tie in the LL.M. CET scores the merit will be marks secured at the LLB and even
if there is tie, based on HSC or equivalent exam marks.
3. Students are required to make necessary arrangements to appear for the online examination
(i.e. Smartphone/Laptop/Desktop/Internet Connectivity).
4. During the examination, all activities on student’s device shall be strictly monitored.
5. The date, time and mode of the MOCK Test shall be notified.
7. Since this is online MCQ examination with automated evaluation of the performance, there shall
be “NO REVALUATION”.
8. Differently abled candidates will be provided necessary facility as per the rules of the University
of Mumbai i.e. extra time of 20 minutes for the examination.
