➢ This is in addition to Grade XI Project work. There had been change in the
curriculum and in Grade XII also you will have to carry forward the concept of
OBITER DICTA & RATIO DECENDI.
➢ To select/choose any 5 decided cases related to the curriculum

➢ DETAILS IN THE PROJECT :


The research on the cases must include the following points
a. Name of the case
b. Parties to the case
c. Nature of the case (Civil, criminal or Constitutional)
d. Facts of the case
e. Issues involved
f. Decision/Judgement of the case
➢ In addition to that the below mentioned points need to be discussed as well.

DETAILED ANALYSIS OF THE JUDICIAL CONCEPT BY A CASE LAW

Project should reflect the following segments:

b) Acknowledgments
c) List of Contents to cover :
i) Introduction about the Case
ii) Facts
iii) Issue
iv) Relevant legislation
v) Precedents

vi) Detailed analysis of the case law applied with
respect to the concept chosen
vii) Relation between the obiter dicta and ratio
decidendi with respect to the judgement given in
the case law chosen
viii) Legal interpretation of the concept chosen with
the present day application in the society (which
could include the advantages of the chosen topic
in the present society)
ix) Conclusion to show how well the concept has
been understood and represented.
(Please Note : Content should be covered under Specific Headings
and Sub Headings as per your own choice)
d) GUIDELINES :
i) Final Project work needs to be hand written
ii) Number of pages to range between 20-25
iii) A typed copy of the same to be submitted in the third
week of October.
iv) Authentic content/ subject matter only will be accepted.
Plagiarised work will be rejected.
