Note: You must not edit the spectrum file using text editors (e.g. NotePad).

The file data will be

corrupted!

The caption data can vary depending on the spectrum files versions or it can be saved to fields with
different names. Any parameters can be omitted. A spectrum has a header in text format and data in
binary format.
The list of possible fields is given below.
1. The following information can be in the spectrum caption:
 The spectrum name is in the SHIFR field.
 The measuring number is in the NOMER field.
 The measuring type is in the TYPE field.
 The configuration type is in the CONFIGNAME field.
 Dates and times of the measurement beginning and end are in the MEASBEGIN, MEASEND fields.
 Dates and times of the beginning and end of preparation procedure for a sample are in the
PREPBEGIN, PREPEND fields.
 The live time [s] is in the TLIVE field.
 The real time [s] is in the TREAL field.
 The operator, who performed the certification, is in the OPERATOR field.
 The geometry name is in the GEOMETRY field.
 The detector name is in the DETECTOR field.
 The material name or the service specifier “not essential” is in the MATERIAL field.
 The mark of set is in the SETTYPE field,
 The container mark is in the CONTTYPE field,
 The distance between the source and detector [cm] is in the DISTANCE field.
 The distance between detector and source [cm], if the container is specified, is in the DETRADIUS
field.
 The mass of the initially taken sample with error are in the RAWMASS field (semicolon is used as a
separator).
 The mass of the sample after a preparation procedure with error are in the PROBEMASS field
(semicolon is used as a separator).
 The mass of the directly measured part of the sample with error are in the SAMPLEMASS field
(semicolon is used as a separator).
 The volume of the initially taken sample [ml] with error are in the RAWVOLUME field (semicolon is
used as a separator).
 The volume of the sample after a preparation procedure [ml] with error are in the PROBEVOLUME
field (semicolon is used as a separator).
 The volume of the directly measured part of the sample [ml] with error are in the SAMPLEVOLUME
field (semicolon is used as a separator).
 The calibration bounds of the spectrum lower energy range, separated by comma are in the
ENBOUNDS field.
 The degree and coefficients of the energy calibration polynomial for the lower spectrum range,
separated by comma are in the ENERGYLOW field.

absolute error, - functional value (separated by comma) and the nuclides list for this line (separated
by semicolon) are specified for every peak in the list.
3. The SPECTR field contains the binary spectrum data.
