Highlights:

Teacher today are trying their best to deliver education in the home of our Children
amidst pandemic. So teachers challenge is that they will be able to learn and apply what
this course i s a b o u t a n d h o w i t w i l l h e l p t h e m m a n a g e t h e t e a c h i n g - l e a r n i n g
process in the modalities. With the current condition about the pandemic, teachers must be
equipped and oriented with the knowledge and skills to cope up with the need of the
schools and students.

In line with this, teachers are encouraged to do a portfolio – a tool that can be
used to record and reflect on one’s learning progress.

This practicum portfolio enables teachers to make connections between the module-
based learning experiences and how these help teachers in doing actual tasks. Artifacts
or what we commonly refer to as means of verification (MOV) capture this progress and
provide evidence that teachers have been applying in the workplace they have learned in
the modules.
This kind of integrative learning contributes to having a more personalized, relevant,
and meaningful professional development experience. This supplemental guide aims to
help teachers identify the essential artifacts in LDM practicum portfolio.

The LAC session started with a short prayer through power point presentation
followed by a Kumustahan sa guro.

Mr. Domingo L. Duller, LAC facilitator sets first the scope and objectives of the
session. He specified that the LAC session will only focus on the ongoing LDM
practicum portfolio building, which will help us teachers to know what to include
in our practicum portfolio and how it will be evaluated.

He also provided us with a copy of the supplemental guide. And he explains that
as we go further with the session, we are going to be asked to identify the MOVs in
the list that we already have.

Next, He divided us into groups with 3-5 members. He grouped us based on our
learning areas or grade levels taught. And then, He gave us 5 minutes to discuss
our work within the small group, and another 5-10 minutes for sharing it with in
the big group.
These are the question for SGS:
1. Have you started gathering MOVs in your practicum portfolio?
2. What artefacts/ MOVs you have gathered show your progress in applying what
you have learned in the LDM course?
3. What artefacts/ MOVs for your LDM practicum portfolio do you have in
common?

As the LAC session continues, each of the groups assigned one speaker to share
their answers with the big group. We are given 2 minutes to present our answers
with the big group.

While observing, He jut down notes and consolidates the our responses and he
presented these to us teachers to identify similar and different answers we made.

And then, he asks us if these MOVs satisfactorily document our learning, growth,
and development on LDM implementation over time.

He then, started the conversation on the pre-work reading material supplemental

guide in building a developmental/learning portfolio.

And to highlight key learnings of the lesson, He used the following synthesis
questions:
1. Why do we need to have pre-determined and self-selected MOVs?
2. How does aligning the MOVs with the professional standards help?
3. How can practicum portfolio building be stress-free?
4. What MOVs from the 2020-2021 RPMS portfolio can be used in my LDM
Portfolio? Vice versa?
5. What other questions do you have that might need clarification?

He synthesized insights shared and understanding gained from reading the

supplemental guide.

He also asked us to identify the help we can give or would need in building our
own practicum portfolio and those of others.
After that, He sets a schedule for coaching/peer coaching sessions.

All the LAC members has completed the Teachers Engagement Report. So, LAC
Facilitator has also completed the Leaders LAC Session Report.

All teachers will be benefitted by this very successful and informative significant
session.

The LAC session was adjourned at exactly 10:00 am in the morning.
