7. Grammar - Passive voice

In passive sentences the subject of the sentence is usually either unknown or not important. If the subject is
included, it is introduced with ‘by’. The object of the passive sentence takes the position of the subject in active
sentences. The passive is formed with the verb ‘be’ in the appropriate tense + the past participle form of the verb.
