A famous author once said, “Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the

things you are, the things you never want to lose.” Our busy life always tells us to do things

away from the memories that once enriched our lives. Sometimes, we tend to live our life away

from the realities that once became part of us because of the many changes that are constantly

happening into our existence. Because of our everyday struggles, we tend to forget how precious

our memories are and we start living our lives away from those beautiful and life-changing

experiences that we had. As we mark again another threshold of living up our memories, let us

always put into our consciousness what happened yesterday---the unforgettable memories, the

joys and laughters, the pain and sufferings that taught us the best lessons in life. Let us always

remember how our beloved Alma Mater, St. Pius X Institute, shaped us to who we are today and

became the avenue of the many unforgettable past of yesterday where we realized and learned

many things. As we gather for this momentous occasion, let us pray for the gift of community

that as one big family we shall always be enriched by the loving presence of God. Let us always

pray for the gift of unity that wherever we may go, we shall not forget our memories as Piusians.

May we always go back to this wonderful memory of staying in our school, reminiscing every

moment of who we are and what we are as persons because these memories are indeed part of

our existence as human beings.

In the end, let us pray for our Alma Mater, St. Pius X Institute, that despite of the many

challenges that may come along the way, we stand a steadfast institution founded in faith and
love. May we always go back to where we belong. To all alumni batches, guests, friends,

benefactors and to all of us, welcome back to our beloved ST. PIUS X INTITUTE! Aim High!
