METHODOLOGY

The researchers held their study at Barraca’s residence Brgy. 06,

Maydolong E. Samar.

First, prepare the materials and ingredients to be used. Second,

soaked the papel de hapon in a little amount of water. Third, compress
the soaked papel de hapon and put it in an empty bottle or any empty
container. Next, took a slice of aloe vera gel and also put it where
compressed papel de hapon is. Then, stir the aloe vera together with the
compressed papel de hapon. Lastly, put a little amount of vanilla inside
the lip tint bottle and stir it again.

The first instrument used is focus group discussion. First, the

researchers suggested some possible less expensive and easy to find
alternative ingredients for homemade lip tint. Next, after the researchers
finally identified the possible ingredients to be used, the researchers look
for ingredients in which is the safer one with good quality. Lastly, the
researchers wrote the final decision. The second instrument used
questionnaires. First, the researchers prepared some questions to be
asked. Then, the researchers encoded and distributed the questionnaires.
After recollecting, the researchers tallied the answers and selected the
most chosen ones. The last instrument is interview. The researchers
asked in which of these two samples that the researchers showed do they
prefer.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

As the researchers conducted the study, they undergo into different

trials in every treatments. For the extract papel de hapon, the researchers
come up with a final decision of using only two natural Aloe vera in
order to equalize the two treatments. If ever the researchers used more
than two cubes of aloe vera there will be possibilities that some particles
would be evident. The researchers then did three trials containing the
two with lip therapy and the other one is without. After the trials, the
researchers come up with a final result in choosing the second trial
containing ¼ tablespoon of lip therapy. For the vanilla, the researchers
choose the second trial having six drops of vanilla.

Overall, the final result in choosing, from the different trials would
be, two cubes of natural aloe vera, ¼ tablespoon of lip therapy, six drops
of vanilla and ½ extracted red papel de hapon.

In using lip therapy there has no any side effects. The same goes in
using natural aloe vera. The only thing is, after three days, the smell of
the vanilla became too strong to handle.

CONCLUSION
Therefore, the researchers concluded that the lip tint is safe to use,
there’s no side effect and the sources of the ingredients are reliable
excluding the vanilla.
