Anodic and cathodic stripping voltammetry in the simultaneous determination of toxic metals in
environmental samples

Abstract

Key words: voltammetry, cathodic stripping, anodic stripping ,toxic metals, environmental samples

Introduction: the presence of toxic and persistence substances in the environment continuously
increases the anthropogenic activities. Those toxic and persistence substances caused by the presence
of heavy metals and irreversible effects on humans. elements are concentrate in the aquatic
environment matrices biota and sediment in the present in aquatic food chain and dangerous for
humans. voltammetric techniques appear to be very suitable ,versatile and rapid for muticomponents
determinations having both good selectivity and sensitivity without requiring meta enrichments
before the analytical measurements. also heavy metals determined by stripping As and Se and anodic
stripping voltammetry(Cu, Pb, and Cd)

Statement of problem (article questions)

1 what is the methods and materials used to determine the anodic and cathodic stripping
voltammetry in the simultaneous determination of toxic metals in the environmental samples.

2 what are the major heavy metals heavy metals to determine anodic and cathodic strippings.

3 what are the analytical calibration functions and relative mono and bivariate analysis in the cathodic
stripping voltammetry

Objectives

Main objectives: determine the anodic and cathodic stripping voltammetry in the simultaneous of
toxic metals in environmental samples
