1.Introduction

The cultural artifacts has to be keep in a controlled environment which has been
returend after the clonolisation to the owner. The owners don’t want to keep in
measuem but the problem is, they has be keep in a environemnt firendly condition for
that we need to design a solution to keep these artifcts in a controled enviroment. This
report will give a brief solution by which we can solve the problem.

1.1 Description of design option

The most appropirate design for this problem is building a measum type room which should be
made of concrete as externnal material which is most commonly available and don’t require any
complication in case of cost as well. As shown in the diaggram the design is very small. The
round sphare you can see on the top of the roof is the means of getting fresh air. This is also the
exit way of circulated air in order to keep the room clean and comforable. While to keep the
temperature and environment better, there are tress planted which will provide oxyggen and
consume air pollution. The roads are in a round shap and there is a parking stand which will
provide a easy way for to traffic to move.
Furthermore the whole buildiing is made of concrete wall which is extremmly productive and
will provide security to all kind of external issues. There is a coating of blue paint which will
product the wall from the extreme enviironemntal condiition and also help to maintain iner the
temperature.

2.Evaluation.

2.1 Cost : Score 2/2

The construction industrial base is well developed in and around the community. There is no
problem with local procurement of building materials, which are locally manufactured or
imported. Therefore, local construction materials/equipment and local construction methods
are employed so as to minimise not only initial costs but also long-term recurrent costs.
Furthermore, the long term ceramics material will lower maximam of its cost. The vistors will
also pay huge amount that will also help to keep the cost balance.

2.2 Frequency of Payments : Score 2/2

This project is scheduled to be implemented under the loan from the community. In this sense,
the Museum must generate a wide range of benefits or incomes through its linkage of
operation. The main expected revenue is generated by the assumed admission fee to the
Museum. In this project, moreover, to enhance the generation of additional income,
restaurant, museum shop, seminar room, etc. are located in the site out of the exhibition area
so as to be accessible by the public or passers-by, even at the time when the Museum is closed.

2.3 Miantenance : Score 2/2

To ensure due operation of the Museum, it is essential to alleviate the financial burden
imposed on the operation body of the Museum by minimising the maintenance cost of the
facilities. The building plan for the Museum, in the above sense, is to be developed to be
“Maintenance Free”. Materials, which are highly durable, are not easily soiled and can be
locally repaired, are to be used. Facility machines and equipment, which can be locally
maintained and managed, are to be selected.

2.4 Materials : Score 1/2

Wooden objects, much like those made from leather, are rarely made exclusively of wood.
Most have some type of adhesive component and may also include other materials such as
metal or plastic. Protein based glues typically used to joint wood furniture and products are
water soluble and are sensitive to high relative humidity which must be avoided while choosing
it. Furthermore using leahther and white paper material can be seem productive in making the
whole mesuem.

2.5 Exterior Sustainibilty : Score 1/1

Changes in relative humidity, natural weathering, and human abuse are all causes of physical
deterioration of wood objects. Light can also speed the deterioration of wood objects. Light
damages the cellular structure of wood and bleaches the color. Furtermore the rain and other
factors can affect the wall, in order to solve these issues liquified protective sheets and paints
has been used on the wall which can sustain any kind of environemantal, physical or chemical
atttacks and prevent the wall.

2.6 Preservation : Score 2/2

Securing a stable and consistent environment that preserves the condition of the Artifacts
includes having the right temperature at all times, along with the right display conditions in
which no corrosive material or toxic has direct contact with the Artifacts. The display should
allow for an adequate visibility of the items, without exposure to direct sunlight. The design has
chillers and refigeration cycle which may this possible.

2.7 Summary of design

The design perofrm well against all performance creteria and overall score is
satisfactory. The design is particualy best in term of maintenane and preservation.
This has followed by using modern tecchnology and environmental friendly materials.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, the design is able to provide control environment to the artifacts within
the community. The design satisfy the performace creteria like cost, material and
external sustanibilty. By applying these solution we can greatly preserve the artifacts
and the measum will become a tourist destination which will add a great revenue in
the reputation and the economy of the country.
