So, my first presentation topic is about Government spending on education, human


capital accumulation, and growth.
In this paper they are assessing the growth implications of alternative methods of
financing public spending on education in a small open economy.
In hypothesis they have develop an endogenous growth model with human capital
accumulation and have consider several fiscal instruments to finance the increase
in government spending: transfers to households, output, capital and labor taxes.

Growth and Schooling Returns?

In this paper the hypothesis taken is return to schooling by adopting an asset


pricing approach and it shows the explicit linkage between government
intervention and growth via this schooling return. The independent variable is
spending on education and the dependent variables are growth and returns to
schooling.

The data consist of a sample of 44 countries for which the returns to schooling data
was used. A cross sectional quantitative analysis has been done.

The hypothesis is to analyze the effect of government spending on healthcare and


health outcomes with cross-national comparison.
The data has been taken from 131 countries. A quantitative analysis has been done

My fourth paper is about Government Spending, Corruption and Economic Growth

The paper provides an endogenous growth model and effects of corruption on


components of government spending.

The model is estimated on a comprehensive data panel of 106 countries and the
results show that the interactions between corruption and investment and
corruption and military spending have strong negative impacts on economic
growth

The hypothesis of this paper is about effect of the composition of federal and state
government spending on various important air pollutants in the US.
A time series data was taken from 1983 to 2008
