Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. Names Cornelius
(Cory) Klerk Vice President, Finance

Las Vegas, July 31, 2003: Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., the United States
subsidiary of global gaming leader Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL), today
announced the appointment of Cornelius (Cory) Klerk as Vice President, Finance,
pending all necessary regulatory approvals.

Klerk, 49, joins Aristocrat on August 4 to oversee the financial operations of

Aristocrat’s North and South American business with direct oversight of financial
planning, revenue and profit management, long-range planning, cash and asset
management, information technology, and organizational policies and procedures.

20 years of experience working in the gaming-hospitality industry and has had

He joins Aristocrat from the Silverton Hotel Casino, where he was Senior Vice
President-Chief Financial Officer for three years. Prior to that, he served from 1997-
2000 as Senior Vice President-Chief Financial Officer for the Aladdin Hotel Casino
during demolition of the old Aladdin through construction of the new property on the
Las Vegas Strip. From 1993-1997 he held the role of Vice President-Finance for
Hilton Hotels’ gaming division with responsibility for financial operations and regulatory
compliance of 11 casino properties in Nevada, New Orleans, Kansas City, Australia,
and Uruguay. From 1979-1993 he held various financial management roles with
Harrah’s Entertainment ending his tenure as Vice President-Finance for Harrah’s
southern Nevada division. Prior to his career in gaming Klerk held several different
financial management positions in the hotel and hospitality industry.

Klerk earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from

Florida International University in Miami. He began his career as a Certified Public
Accountant with a nationally recognized public accounting firm.
