Controversies

In N out burgers donated 25000$ to GOP which had a negative impact as the other party opposed and
boycotted the business. The democrats opposed the business.

However they justified it by giving a statement that they made equal contributions for both republicans
and democratic committee.

The party which they donated was of Donald Trump which made things worse as the democrats
opposed it and boycotted them. Due to which they had to face serious losses as well. This had a bad
image on the business but the statement they made tried to calm both the parties which gradually
restored there image.

Organizational Culture
In N out has focused on innovation which has evolved the industry. There unique technique of
serving and making there burgers have been copied by many famous businesses.

The biggest key to success for in N out is there employees. They have made there employees
happy and they are very cheerful. They wear clad in white slacks and shirts, red aprons and
iconic paper hats that recall the days of mom-and-pop soda shops — are cheerful, if not
downright ecstatic.

The starting rate for employees is a good 11$ per hour including paid vacations day and health
insurance. The salary and perks which they are given are well above the industry average.

They have a fun friendly environment with good on the job training , a good chance for
promotions as well. This is the reason they were honored s a 2018 Best Place to Work in
Glassdoor’s annual Employees’ Choice Awards. They have won this award for 5 times.

When Lynsi Snider was asked in an interview that how does she improve employee
engagement she responded that they focus on interactive learning and one on one. She is still
working on upgrading management.

While recruiting workers they look for those workers which are good in there social skills.
Which are not introverts but they are extroverts.

They are looking for those people which are very fun loving and love there what they work.
