Introduction
A regular work safety shoes for construction workers are very heavy, rigid and
difficult to use daily.

B. Proposed product
The new proposed product is a lightweight work and safety shoe series, introduce
with an eye catching high-visibility neon colour series. Although there have been
shoes previously made with his material, our target is to make a new design just for
construction workers to show the strength and usefulness of this material.

C. User
Construction workers in Australia: test workers from low to high intensity working
conditions.
Main target group age - 18-38 years
Gender – male

E. Benefits
The lightness and flexibility of the product will provide an opportunity for easy
movement and therefore increase the work efficiency and workplace health of
users. Usually, construction workers suffer from the muscles, and painful corns sure
to the regular boots. The new proposed shoes, will significant less of those effects
due to its materials thus encouraging a healthier workforce.

F. Material
The innovative shoe design is made of Kevlar to give maximum lightness and
flexibility. Kevlar is a heat resistant and string synthetic fiber that was first used in
tires before now commercialised in bicycle, raving sails, music instruments, sports
materials and bulletproof vests. It’s strength is compared to steel yet is light and
flexible to use In various forms. This material is well known for military and police.
Therefore, it should be also accessible for individuals who are also in harsh working
environments as the constructions workers.
