 Key Responsibilities

Project Management (Fiber Monitoring System) –

 Deployment of high-value, IP-based, fiber network monitoring solutions at wire-line

telecommunications service providers, Defence, PSU etc.
 Coordinate product/services delivery with Operations, Field Engineering, Service
Coordinator, and the customer to ensure timely delivery.
 Providing technical support, installation, Field service, commissioning and training where
required.
 Assisting sales team during proposal phase of new opportunities providing pricing
estimates, resource requirement, preliminary project time lines, SOW language, and
acceptance test plans.
 Project Management - the delivery of a variety of post sales services to new and existing
customers including implementation, best practices, training, upgrades, add on product
sales, and miscellaneous consulting services based on SOW.   Manage EXFO post sales
delivery personnel or 3rd party service delivery organizations during the engagement.
 Liaison with Sales representative and Solutions Engineering team, along with assigned
delivery resources, to ensure full understanding of the customer environment, solution sold,
contract requirements, acceptance criteria, and expectations of all parties – and translate
that into project plans and documented deliverables.
  Develop and maintain project plan templates for various EXFO systems and applications.
 Develop project plans for new system implementations, coordinate reviews
internal/external, and set up project meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities -

 Involved in the operations correlated with integration of new BTS site and expansion of
existing BTS sites.
 Monitored the swapping process of BTS and handled the entire project roll out activities.

Projects:

 Bharti-Airtel (Rajasthan) – The project was associated with integration of new sites
and Expansion of live sites for increasing T-Rx capacity, providing Media for sites from
far end (both standalone and cascaded E-1) and configuring MMU and SMU
(Microwave).

 Vodafone (Punjab) – The project dealing with Survey of Vodafone Sites, Supervising
installation of Ericsson BTS, Commissioning of Ericsson BTS, Swapping out Motorola
BTS with Ericsson BTS, Quality survey of sites, VSWR measurement, measurement of
transmitting power of Ericsson BTS, Call test, E1 test and Inter cell handover test.
External alarm test.

 “CEO Quarterly award” – (Biggest award in Sterlite) with a letter of appreciation from “CEO and
Director” for playing significant role in Product Development & 12 new customer approval across the
Globe (BT, Globacom, STC, Etisalat, Virgin Media, Neotel etc).
