The Department of Education, Agusan del Sur Division shall conduct the 2018 Math Festival on November 15-16, 2018 with the theme "Great Teachers Equals Great Leamers: Soaring Math in Agusan de! Sur.” The elementary level shall be held on November 15, 2018 at San Francisco Pilot Central Elementary School, San Francisco District 1, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur and the Junior and Senior High Schoo! levels shall be on November 16, 2018 at Agusan del Sur National High School, San Francisco, ‘Agusan del Sur. 2. The Math Festival aims to: ‘provide pupils and students the opportunity to develop and show their Multiple Intelligences; b. improve the pupils/students analysis and critical thinking; ©. apply the Mathematical concepts leamed to the practical use; d. develop the ability of pupils and students to understand and create solutions in ‘solving problems; and e._ enhance teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, and wholesome competition. The participants from elementary, junior and senior private schools shall participate directly to the division level competition as one contingent. Participants are reminded to bring their own material/s for the event which they intend to Participate. Participants are advised to submit three (3) hard copies of their SIM on November 5, 2018 to EPS Nilo B. Montano Giving of awards in every event contested shall be done right after the consolidation of the result. 7. Committee chairpersons and members are reminded of their functions before, during and after the contests. Entries of participants with coaches shall be submitted to Juliet Lo Franco, Teacher Il of San Francisco Pilot Central Elementary School, San Francisco , Agusan del Sur for elementary and Estrella A. Tabugon, Department Head of Mathematics in Agusan del Sur National High School, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. .. Contingents who will be arriving a day before the contest are advised to bring their set of beddings and other personal belongings. They could stay at the reserved rooms of its respective venue. 10. Attached are the list of chairpersons and members of the different committees. 11. Meal and snacks of the facilitators will be served chargeable against Division MOOE while transportation expenses, meal and snacks of the participants (coaches and Participants) shall be charged against School MOOE/LDpal Funds subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulation, 12.
