given questions. Then, submit answers in pdf

1. Quality is an integral part of project management. Describe methods that can be

used to ensure that quality is adequately defined, understood, and properly
included in a project.
 In every project, whatever it is, I think it is very significant that the quality
of a project must meet the owner's satisfaction and is an integral part of
project management. Hence, the strategy or method that can be utilized to
guarantee the quality of the project are;
1. Planning, includes; materials, which will be used, are included as well
as the equipment, the location where the project must reside, the
budget which the owner can provide and etc. The design team must
ensure that all the materials must be approved by the owner for he/she
will be the one to provide the budget. Also, they must ensure that the
materials correspond to the place where the building will be
constructed to avoid future accidents and damages.
2. Carefully select contractors that have a record of quality work, rather
than selecting contractors that quote the lowest cost.
3. Maintain continuous communications with the owner throughout the
project so the owner understands the total affect quality can have on
the cost and schedule of a project.
4. The project manager should hold a meeting with the owner to discuss,
and agree upon, the end product the project is to provide.

2. Give examples of problems that may arise when an owner fails to fulfill his/her
responsibility of clearly defining the operational criteria of a project.

 Failing to fulfill the important role or responsibility of clearly defining the

operational criteria of a project will result to huge failure of the entire
projects Without the owner’s participation, the design team cannot be able
to place and propose the plans and ideas well. It can also affect the
plotting of scope, budgeting and scheduling which may stop the teams
from starting the project. It can also lead to misunderstanding and
argument because the owner did not meet his desired quality project or
design.
3. In actual scenario, there are at least three project managers that are involved in a
project, one each working for the owner, designer and the contractor. Since each
of these individuals works for a different organization, describe methods that you
would suggest to ensure good working relationships between these three
individuals.

 In order to complete the project in the most efficient manner a team must
approach between the owner, designer, and contractor must be created
with a cooperative relationship. Also, I think it is necessary maintaining a
good communication with each party. Good communication with each
party can make the project outcome meets the desired result.
Furthermore, It is important that they understand each other before
starting a project in order to avoid miscommunications and failure of a
given tasks. Coordination is achieved through effective communication.
Lastly respect to the availability of time each party have whenever they
have meet ups to do, don’t be late.
