An Essay 5

e Angelicum College Home Study Program has opened new horizons for me. When I became
part of the system, I have been involved in a lot of activities the school has. I've been part of the HSP
Learner's volleyball team, Angelicum College's Dance Company (though most of its members are college
students), and recently, the school's varsity team. I feel so blessed to have been part of all those
activities. They give me wholesome activities to do; important things that I should consider doing rather
than other things.

My life will never be the same again. I am so thankful that I have chosen Angelicum to continue
my high school education. With all the things that I have encountered in my life, I consider this change a
very good one for me; I will surely never forget this for as long high school life has never been the same
since I transferred to Angelicum. I feel like my life has been easier and more worthwhile. I guess I can't
imagine myself studying in another school, for now. I have achieved so many things in such a short time.
Aside from the extra-curricular things that I busy myself at, my social life has improved greatly. I have
come to know a lot more people in school. I have become part of a 'barkada' whose members are
mostly college students. We hang out together; go out together, do things together, we almost do
everything together. Very enlightening for me since I am surrounded by people older and wiser (because
of their experiences in life); I have come to know new things that help me get through my day to day
life. They are so enlightening that I always come to them whenever I have problems because they are
sure to give me pieces of advice that will surely help me solve my problems.
