Commonalities include Pauline Vierdoe(?) coming from musical families or
connections to bigger institutions so that they could get training. Fanny and Clara
were brought up with music from an early age.
Sense of resilience and integrity with perserverance. Despite the challenges,
they overcame and produced amazing works.
The reasons they went into music and how they were allowed to get into the
scene. Clara's father supported the career but wouldn't support her emotionally. He
took a majority's cut from the prestige and basically exploited her skills. Perhaps
under the guise of support.

In 2021, emphasize that in spite of all the difficulties in women's music
making, contributions should be brought out and celebrated with due respect.
More of a emphasis on research could harbor nicer evidence and less
generalization.

Egypt was supporting Algeria's independence from France, and developed more
Arabophilia in Africa as well.
